Watching people grow

It is exciting and rewarding to watch people grow. You may say it has become a passion of increasing intensity. Last night Dan, a member of the Tuesday night mastermind group metioned that he wanted to start a blog to express himself and to start to form a sense of community. He also stated that he didn't know how to do one. While we were on the call, I posted to Dan on my blog and told him how easy it was to start one.

Today, Dan emailed me his blog http://feedmeblog.blogspot.com/ check it out. He is an amazing man having survived cancer, yes, that c - word and is now starting to use his knowlegde, experience and compassion to help others. I have a feeling that he will help a lot of people. He is going through the process of figuring out how he will help people, will he coach? Read his blog to find out!

Life is a journey. That is why we must enjoy the process of figuring out who we are and what we are going to do to make a difference in this world. It can be exciting or it can be hard, the choice is yours. You get to decide what you want to be when you grow up. Hopefully, you are growing every day.

Play a bigger, better game

Want to play a bigger, better game? Upgrade the people you spend time with. Want to play a better game of golf? Play with those that play a better game than you.

Seek a mentor (or two) that are doing what you want to do, and doing it better, accomplishing more. Watch what happens when you do that! You will be out of your comfort zone. You mind may tell you that you like it just the way it is and that you will retreat back to the way you were.
Only trouble is, once you are aware that you could be, do or have more and you begin to study material that helps you grow, you'll be hooked.

Do I do this in my own life? You bet. Right now I am attracting just the right mentors to take me to a place of greater success. My ultimate goal is to become a Life Success Consultant & Coach. In my mind, I was thinking that I had to wait to go through the training in order to start.

This past weekend, I had an ahaaah - I have already started. Frequently I am asked for help;
what business to go into, how to start a business, how to handle this situation or that situation.
Other have been saying that I would make a great coach.

"I'm listening" as Dr. Frazier Crane used to say to his on air guests. I was listening to what others were saying. My next challenge is to structure my consulting coaching business, to structure a huge, professional successful business.

The last few months I have been a consultant to small businesses, helping a small pool company grow. It's fun to be able to identify what can be done to grow a business, and the mindset that holds them back. I've been there, done that growing 8 or 9 businesses, one to over $20,000,000.00 in today's dollars.

That's what separates me from the crowd - working on the mindset as much as the business.

The law of attraction already has my mentor(s) on their way to me. I'll let you know.

The leather coat

A few days ago, I had lunch with two friends that I used to work with. One had on a leather coat, and the other friend commented that she wanted a leather coat. We talked for a little while about leather coats. The weather was just turning cool enough to wear one.

My leather coat was aquired around this time of year, in 2005. It was on sale, half price to be exact and in the front of the store as soon as you walked in, the rack was right there. A few days before I bought my leather coat, My son had shown me his new leather coat. It was gorgeous!
Right then and there, I knew I wanted one, which would be my first. I decided what I wanted mine to look like and how much I was willing to spend. The one on the rack in the front of the store was exactly what I wanted and $25.00 less than I wanted to spend!

This is not where the story ends. After lunch, I went home to pull out my leather coat for the season and saw another leather coat that had been given to me last year. It too was a very nice leather coat. Only one problem, it didn't fit me very well. So, it sat in my closet.

The thought came to me to give it to my friend Betty who had expressed the desire to have a leather coat. It would fit her better than me so why hang onto something that I would most likely never wear?

On the third day after lunch, I called Betty & told her I had something for her. Of course she asked what it was. My response was it was a surprise and she would have to wait until I gave it to her in person. We made arrangements to meet a little later that afternoon. Betty went on to tell me about just coming from the dentist and how that was quite an experience for her.

We met and I gave her the coat. Her eyes got so big! She tried on the coat which fit her perfectly. She was so happy, but asked several times: Are you sure? Yes, I am sure I would tell her.

The funny thing is, I think I got more out of giving her the leather coat than she did receiving it.
On my way home I laughed about how the law of attraction works. On Friday Betty said she wanted a leather coat and Monday she had one. Not only that but I marveled at how I also attracted the exact leather coat I wanted at the price I wanted to pay.

What are you thinking?

law of attraction - this appeared on my website & I didn't put it there

Saving peoples' homes for 20 years....
If you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you don't! If you want to win but think you can't it's almost a cinch you won't. If you think you'll lose, you're lost; for out in the world we find success begins with a fellow's will; it's all in the state of the mind. Life's battles don't always go to the stronger and faster man, but sooner or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can.

Environment Blog Action Day

Environmentally triggered illness
Indoor air quality that is worse than the pollution outdoors

Dis-ease is preventable and curable

Read Dr Sherry Rogers newsletters " Total Wellness"
Read Dr William Rea's Books "Chemical Sensitivity"

My family lost 3 years of our live because of a plumber who didn't do his job. Sewer gas leaked into our home and poisoned my husband and I and our 3 young children. We almost didn't make it - many die from similar situations. The Lord's hand was upon us.

It turns out that the worst thing that could happen - it was like hell on earth - could be used for good. We learned about true health, came closer to the Lord and help others to live better lives
